Carol Featured as a Panelist for Girls on Track UK

Carol recently took part as a panelist in the Girls on Track UK webinar on Wednesday, 15 October. The event brought together participants from all five regional hubs for an evening dedicated to exploring careers and volunteering pathways within motorsport.

The webinar featured an inspiring panel of women working across different areas of the sport, offering attendees a rare chance to hear directly from those shaping motorsport behind the scenes. The speakers included a marshal, a club secretary, a broadcast and journalism graduate and presenter, an engineering lecturer at a Welsh university, a Clerk of the Course, and Motorsport UK’s PR and Communications Manager. We are honoured and proud to see Carol share her wisdom amongst 5 other inspiring women in motorsport.

Carol joined the panel to share her experiences, reflecting on her involvement in motorsport, the path that led her into the industry, and the importance of representation and community within the sport. Throughout the discussion, she offered insight into the variety of roles that keep motorsport running, from operational positions to media, education, and event management.

Attendees were invited to submit questions in advance, encouraging a thoughtful and engaging conversation with the panel. The session allowed young people and newcomers to gain a clearer understanding of the diverse opportunities available in motorsport, both on and off the track.

We’re proud to see Carol contributing to initiatives that champion accessibility and visibility for women across the motorsport community. Events like this continue to highlight the value of mentorship, storytelling, and shared experience in inspiring the next generation.
